Our team has lived here for many years and often struggles with that eternal question of “what to do this weekend”. Over the years we’ve discovered that the county library has amazing programs, the Kenston schools offer programs and events for the community, and the Geauga County Parks are some of the best. But it is still challenging to find events. Activities are posted on individual websites and if you aren’t regularly reviewing them you will miss out! Plus there are so many wonderful small events that don’t get any visible marketing. We aim to fix that by providing a single home for all upcoming events. As we continue to grow we also hope to add local interest sections including interviews with locals, reviews of local restaurants, and other bits of news and trivia.

We pull the upcoming event calendars from, currently, eight different organizations and pick out the ones that are likely to be of interest to our readers. The events will cover the gamut from local government Trustee Meetings, Kenston sports games, nature hikes, historical lectures, reading programs, and any other fun events we can dig up. Each week we will post the next two weeks worth of events, sorted by category. If you don’t care about what’s going on at Town Hall, you can just ignore that section.
