Early Voting
Early voting in person at the Board office and Absentee voting both began on October 7th. For full hours of early voting, check the Geauga County BOE website.

Be aware that the Geauga BOE office has moved! They are now located at 12611 Ravenwood Dr., Suite 004, Chardon, OH 44024 which is down in the basement of the county building.
Absentee Voting
Absentee Ballot applications can be downloaded here and then mailed to the Board Office. Anyone can choose to vote absentee for any reason. Be aware that if you do request an absentee ballot you can NOT turn in the absentee ballot at your polling place on election day. You also will NOT be able to change your mind and on election day vote a regular ballot, you will have to vote provisionally. This is to ensure that voters that have requested an absentee ballot are not able to vote twice.
Voting on Election Day
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, polls will open at 6:30a.m. and remain open until 7:30p.m. Anyone in line at 7:30p.m. will be allowed to vote.
